After a lithium flashlight battery caught fire and completely damaged the interior of this lake house in Azle, TX, our team came to help. We fully gutted the space and rebuilt it from the ground up, transforming it into a modern, lake-themed home that our clients can love again.

Downstairs, we installed wood-look tile throughout, giving the entire level a cohesive feel. Our clients selected ready-made kitchen cabinets in a beautiful two-toned design: light wood-stained perimeter cabinets paired with a bold navy island. Quartz countertops and a matching quartz backsplash create a clean, contemporary look, complemented by a sleek stainless steel vent hood and elegant gold accents.

The kitchen is equipped with modern features and appliances, including an induction cooktop and a double oven with side-opening doors. The sink includes a convenient cup washer, and the faucet features a built-in filtered water spout connected to the new reverse osmosis system we installed.

Before the fire, the kitchen included a separate dry bar. We rebuilt it with new cabinets, a tile backsplash, and floating shelves with color-changing LED lighting underneath — a fun detail.

From the ground up, this home has been completely renewed, blending functionality, beauty, and the relaxed charm of a modern lake house.
