A fire broke out in this client’s attic in Colleyville. The fire caused a large part of the upstairs to be reframed, reinsulated and reworked, so the clients took it as an opportunity to renovate their entire home. These clients had been taken advantage of by another construction company and were looking for a trustworthy contractor, so an external designer brought us into the project. Downstairs, we removed the wall separating the kitchen from the living area and built a new 12-foot stacked stone fireplace. In the kitchen, we installed custom cabinets, a custom curved island with beadboard accents, granite countertops, and a subway tile backsplash. We opened up the dining room to the kitchen and installed a dark board and batten wainscoting. In their primary bathroom, we build a custom 10′-0″ shower with a drop in tub next to it. We painted the existing vanities and installed new quartz countertops.
We also worked in the man cave/den upstairs, installing custom stained cabinets with a wet bar. We also built and installed the stained ceiling beams.
